Awaiting Results — Provisional Candidates
Candidates who have appeared in a qualifying examination but have not yet received their results are also permitted to apply. Such candidates must provide proof of having passed the qualifying exam if shortlisted for the PST/PET stage. Acceptable documents include the degree certificate, final mark sheet, or provisional degree certificate issued by a competent university authority. This proof must be produced within the time limit specified in Rule 15, Sub-Rules 9.1 and 9.2 of the CAPF (AC) Exam Rules.
Equivalent Examination — Special Cases
In exceptional cases, the Commission may allow a candidate who does not hold the above-listed degrees to appear for the examination, provided they have passed another examination that, in the opinion of the Commission, is equivalent in standard and relevance to the required qualifications.
Professional & Technical Qualifications
Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications which are recognized by the Government as equivalent to a professional or technical degree shall also be eligible to apply.
Candidates must first ensure they fulfill all the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Commission, including age, nationality, educational qualifications, and physical standards. The onus of verifying eligibility lies entirely with the candidate.
Provisional Acceptance
Acceptance of an online application and issuance of an e-Admit Card is purely provisional — it does not confirm final eligibility.
